History

Created in 1992 in Valfréjus France by Thias Balmain, the skwal has throughout the years united skwalers passionate about carving from all over the world. Thias did not limit himself to the extreme carve as on this photo from 96 but always tried to make the skwal more versatile but keeping in mind the creation of new shapes.
